PWC Dredge Crane Rental Shawnee and Tar Hollow State Park

Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for crane rental services to support dredging operations at Shawnee State Park and Tar Hollow State Park. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the loading and unloading of dredge equipment, specifically the Akron Dredge and Confluence Dredge, which require specialized mobile or all-terrain cranes capable of handling significant weight.

Work Details
The contractor will provide two mobile/all-terrain cranes, each with a capacity of 155 tons, for the following tasks:

1) At Shawnee State Park, the crane will be used for one day to load a dredge weighing 73,000 pounds onto a trailer.

2) The crane will then be moved to Tar Hollow State Park to offload the dredge into water. Additionally, another crane will be required at Shawnee State Park for loading another dredge and moving it within the park to a second offloading site. Both cranes must be set up and taken down at each site. The bid should include port-to-port pricing for the crane rental.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on April 14, 2026, with an end date of May 5, 2026.

Shawnee State Park located at 4404 OH-125, Portsmouth, OH 45663 and Tar Hollow State Park located at 16396 Tar Hollow Road, Laurelville, OH 43135.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit proposals through Ohio Buys; proposals submitted outside this platform will not be considered. There are no specific set-aside certifications required for this solicitation.
