Private Market intelligence Platform

Background
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is seeking proposals for a commercially available private market intelligence platform service. The AGO, led by Attorney General Dave Yost, serves as the Chief Law Officer for the State of Ohio, advocating for consumers and enforcing state laws. The Antitrust Section of the AGO aims to foster competition in the marketplace by enforcing antitrust laws and investigating potential violations. This RFP addresses the need for comprehensive data to support antitrust investigations and business reviews.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a private market intelligence platform that meets specific functional requirements, including:
- Comprehensive data coverage of private companies across industries, including profit and loss data, executive information, and ownership details.
- Detailed transaction information on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and market evaluations.
- Real-time or near real-time data updates.
- Advanced search and analytics tools to track market trends.
- Ability to generate custom reports and export data in .CSV or .XLS formats.
- User-friendly interface with comprehensive training and user support for three AGO staff members.
Additionally, ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, updates, and security compliance with AGO policies are required.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon signing in 2025 and will run through June 30, 2027. The AGO has options to renew the contract for two additional two-year terms through June 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office located in Columbus, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with specific security protocols as outlined in AGO policies. They should demonstrate their ability to meet industry security standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and provide a detailed description of their security measures. Offerors must be eligible for contract award under Ohio Revised Code Sections 9.24 and others. No exceptions or deviations from the RFP terms should be included unless justified.
