Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst

Background
The City of Cincinnati, Ohio, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for a part-time Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Greater Cincinnati Fusion Center within the Cincinnati Police Department. The goal of this contract is to enhance information and intelligence analysis capabilities, particularly in relation to cybersecurity and terrorism prevention efforts.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide part-time cybersecurity data collection and analysis services, which may include:
- Knowledge of computer science, systems analysis, data security practices, common adversary tactics, cryptology, incident response methodologies, and network traffic analysis.
- Assistance in analyzing intrusion artifacts to mitigate potential incidents and develop security policies.
- Serving as a technical expert and liaison with law enforcement personnel.
- Establishing cyber threat priorities and assisting partners with cyber-related policies.
- Providing up-to-date information on specific threats.
- Supporting regional incident operations during critical cyber events.
- Conducting assessments of systems/networks for compliance with security standards.

Period of Performance
The term of the contract is for one year with an option for one additional twelve-month renewal.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Greater Cincinnati Fusion Center located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
