Background
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections (ODRC) is responsible for overseeing the supervision of over 44,900 offenders in Ohio across 28 state prisons. The agency's mission is to reduce recidivism among those they serve. The ODRC STAR special operations unit is seeking to upgrade and standardize their duty firearms from Generation 4 Glock models to the Generation 5 Glock 45 model with optics. This upgrade includes a trade-in program for old pistols to receive discounts on new purchases.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following products: 85 units of Glock PA455SB02MOS8A3 Glock 45MOS with Aimpoint optics.

The old firearms being traded in include:
- 88 units of Glock 34, GEN4 with night sights and three magazines each
- 82 units of Glock 19, GEN4 with night sights and three magazines each.

The contractor must describe their experience in providing similar products, notify necessary licenses and permits, provide delivery timelines, and affirm compliance with ODRC policies.

Period of Performance
The project is set to start on April 2, 2025, with bids due by April 17, 2025.
