Description

Clarification - May also use the Sound Off Signal and associated light bar equipment as one acceptable alternative to the Whelan product line. All other products as posted and delivery time stays within 30 days of vehicles being delivered to ODNR.The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for: Law Enforcement Vehicle Equipment Upfitting and DecalingIntroduction:The Division od Parks and Watercraft has been increasing its law enforcement staff for each of the last several years. As the officer roster increases, so does the need for vehicles for them to utilize. The Division seeks a Supplier that can perform all after-market equipment upfitting and decal placement as quickly as possible after the vehicle is delivered from the manufacturer. Having vehicles sit, unusable at DNR headquarters for months before being able to be used where they are so desperately needed in the field is not fair to Ohio taxpayers and state park users. The current need is for upfitting of (19) Ford F-150 trucks. Full bid specifications are attached.The need it to get the vehicles put into service within 30 days after they are delivered from the manufacturer.
Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking bids for law enforcement vehicle equipment upfitting and decaling. The Division of Parks and Watercraft has been increasing its law enforcement staff, necessitating the need for additional vehicles. The goal of this contract is to ensure that newly delivered vehicles can be quickly outfitted with necessary equipment and decals, minimizing downtime and ensuring they are operational as soon as possible for field use.

Work Details
The contract requires the supplier to perform aftermarket equipment upfitting and decal placement on 19 Ford F-150 trucks. Specific items to be purchased and installed include:
- Edge 9SX Slim WeCanXA1:A30 Series DUO Super-LED Lightbar - 54" - All Red/Blue with Secondary White (Front)/Amber (Rear)
- Lightbar Mount Kit for Ford F-150 2015+ / 2017+ F250-550 / Liberty II & Legacy 54” or Justice 62“
- ION DUO™ T-Series Linear Super-LED® Lighthead - Red/White (#01-066J320-D0A) - 2 per grill and rear bumper
- ION DUO™ T-Series Linear Super-LED® Lighthead - Blue/White (#01-066J320-E0A) - 2 per grill and rear bumper
- Whelen Universal 'L' Mounting Bracket for (1) TLI Lighthead #01-0447642-000 (2 per truck for grill lights)
- Smart-Logic Flasher Part #01-0688156-02C
- Projector Compact 100W Nylon Composite Speaker 122db
- SA315 Mount Kit Ford F-150 PPV 2021-2023, Ford F-150 with Eco-Boost 2021-2023, Ford Expedition 2022-2023, Center Mount, for One or Two Speakers
- nERGY™ 400 Series Multi-Function Siren w/ Knob Control 10-16v - 100w single speaker.

Additional items include LED Dome Lights, various console kits, a cargo deck with drawer, a partition system, power distribution units, glass break sensors, and agency decals. All items must be installed and operational upon delivery.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 30 days from the time the vehicles are received from the manufacturer.

Place of Performance
The vehicles must be picked up and returned to DNR Headquarters located at 2045 Morse Rd, Columbus OH 43229.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, local laws and Executive Orders while performing under this Contract. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the contract terms.
