Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare -Intensive Care Room Doors

Background
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is seeking proposals for the Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare / Intensive Care Room Door Project. This project aims to enhance the safety and functionality of the facility, which is crucial for the health and safety of patients.

The facility must remain compliant with The Joint Commission standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide 2 attic stock and install eight (8) new Metal Steelcraft prepped 16 Gauge Doors for 4-0 x 7-0 openings. The doors must include new vision lite kits made from polycarbonate material that matches existing thickness and size.

The installation should utilize existing full mortise continuous hinges or replace them as needed. Each door must be prepared for an existing Best mortise lockset, keyed on both sides, and include top caps. All screws used must be tamper-resistant.

Additionally, the contractor will change existing door systems with like materials, including all paint, hardware, and wall repair. A site visit is mandatory to verify all sizes, handling, and preparation requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from November 26, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare located at 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067.
