Background
The City of Cincinnati's Office of Procurement is issuing this solicitation for the painting of the Mill Creek Road Bridge. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks related to the Mill Creek Road Bridge Painting:

1. Surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
2. Application of high-quality paint suitable for outdoor use on all exposed surfaces of the bridge.
3. Compliance with all relevant safety regulations during work execution.
4. Proper disposal of any hazardous materials encountered during the project.
5. Adherence to specifications outlined in City of Cincinnati Standard Specification No. 4-1-21 and other applicable guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work within five (5) calendar days from receipt of written notice to begin work and complete all on-site work within 180 calendar days from that notice.

The work will be performed at Mill Creek Road Bridge, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered under Vendor Self Service (VSS) at the time of award. A bid bond or certified check amounting to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into if awarded. Bidders must also comply with MBE/WBE participation requirements, ensuring that at least 5% of the contract value is allocated to minority-owned businesses and 7% to women-owned businesses.
