LeCI Gym Flooring

Background
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections (ODRC) oversees the supervision of approximately 44,900 offenders in Ohio across 28 state prisons. The mission of ODRC is to reduce recidivism among those they serve, with a focus on staff care, teamwork, civility, and hope. Lebanon Correctional Institution is seeking bids for the installation of a gym floor to support its mission and values.

Work Details
The project involves the installation and delivery of synthetic wood grain gym flooring in an area measuring 80' x 112' (8960 square feet). Specific requirements include:

- Flooring with a 2 mm rubber underlayment as per layout (light maple floor with burgundy border and lanes).
- Installation of volleyball sleeves and complete game system (excluding judges stand).
- Line painting for main basketball court, side basketball courts (2), and main volleyball court.
- Alum transition around the perimeter, approximately 2 inches from walls and stage area.
- Installation of 6 four-row tip and roll bleachers with double foot wood planks (21x7x2.5), colored tops matching floor colors (burgundy).
- Replacement of 4 side regulation glass backboards (40x72) with rims and backboard pads (maroon).
- Inclusion of a center logo featuring a Chief Head.

Period of Performance
The estimated time frame for completion of the project will be provided by the contractor in their bid response.

Lebanon Correctional Institution, located at 3145 ST Route 63, Lebanon, Ohio, 45036.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience with installation of gymnasium flooring, specifically Sports Court flooring. They should document previous experience within the last five years in facilities similar in size and scope to ODRC facilities. Bidders must also provide necessary licenses, permits, certifications, and accreditations as applicable. Compliance with State of Ohio Contract requirements is mandatory.
