Background
The Large Diameter Sewer Main Rehabilitation Program 2025 is initiated by the City of Cincinnati's Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). The program aims to rehabilitate existing sanitary and combined sewer systems, specifically targeting pipes with diameters ranging from 36 inches to 96 inches. The objective is to ensure structural and hydraulic renewal of these sewer mains, which are critical for maintaining effective wastewater management in the city.

Work Details
The contract encompasses approximately 6,400 feet of sewer rehabilitation using various approved methods including:
- Traditional Heat (water or steam) cured Felt/Resin CIPP
- Centrifugally cast geopolymer mortar
- Cementitious lining
- Spiral Wound Pipe
- Grout-in-Place materials

The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools, and appurtenances necessary for the project. Specific tasks include:
- Cleaning and televising all sewer sections.
- Reestablishing service lateral connections.
- Making repairs as required to facilitate lining.
- Conducting closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspections before and after rehabilitation work.
- Rehabilitation of damaged lateral connections caused by contractor negligence.
- Point repairs as needed based on condition assessments prior to bidding.

The contractor must begin work within 14 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and complete all work by December 31, 2025.
