Lake Guilford Dam Wetland Mitigation Credits - Category 3

Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking to procure compensatory wetland mitigation credits for the Guilford Lake Dam Rehabilitation Project. This project is associated with USACE ID LRP-2024-00471 and OEPA ID 251448D. It aims to address permitted impacts on wetlands as part of its environmental compliance efforts.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of 0.5 non-forested wetland mitigation credits categorized as Category 3, in accordance with OAC 3745-1-54. These credits are required due to an impact of 0.219 acres on Category 3 non-forested wetland resulting from the dam rehabilitation project. The credits must originate from an Interagency Review Team (IRT) approved wetland mitigation in-lieu fee (ILF) site located within the Upper Ohio 05030101 watershed.

The selected vendor will not charge ODNR a deposit fee for reserving the credits, which must be held until all necessary permits and agreements are finalized. Upon contract finalization and payment, the vendor is responsible for providing documentation of credit purchase to ODNR for compliance with requirements set by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA).
