Janitorial Services for Greater Cincinnati Water Works

Background
The solicitation is for janitorial services for the Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW). The contract is an online bid divided into three volumes. Volume One contains bid information and does not need to be returned.
Volume Two contains forms and questionnaires that must be completed. Volume Three contains Excel pricing sheets that must be completed in the highlighted areas and returned as an attachment with the signed forms in Volume Two. Bids will not be read publicly, and no hard copies of bids will be accepted. Bidders must submit bids electronically through the City's Vendor Self-Service website. Bidders must register and submit bids at the provided website.

Work Details
The janitorial services required include keeping all floors, restrooms, showers, offices, lunchrooms, and common areas in a clean and acceptable condition. The emphasis is on maintaining resilient floor tiles to radiate a lustrous appearance on a daily basis. The contractor is required to provide the minimum number of personnel stipulated in the contract at all times.
The service areas include various locations within the Greater Cincinnati Water Works facilities, such as offices, lunchrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, lobby and reception areas, control room, laboratory areas, and common areas.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period begins on September 1, 2024, and ends twelve months later on August 31, 2025. The contract may be renewed at the sole discretion of the City for three additional twelve-month periods ending on August 31, 2028.
The options for renewal shall be automatically exercised unless written notice to the contrary is filed with either party not later than ninety days prior to the expiration of the current contract period.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services are required at various locations including Tennyson Building, Richard M. Miller Treatment Plant, Charles M. Bolton Treatment Plant, and Chester Park Complex in Cincinnati and Fairfield Ohio.
