Janitorial Services

Background
The City of Huber Heights, a municipal corporation, is soliciting proposals for janitorial services at various City-owned properties. The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities from 2025 to 2029, with the possibility of annual renewals. The City aims to engage qualified firms that can meet the specified requirements outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP).

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services for multiple locations including City Hall, Police Building, Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Municipal Court, HHCC, and the Division of Taxation. Services include but are not limited to:

- Garbage collection
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Vacuuming carpets
- Mopping floors
- Dusting surfaces
- Maintaining kitchen areas.

Each location has specific frequency requirements for tasks such as emptying waste cans (2-5 times per week), cleaning windows (1-3 times per week), and deep cleaning carpets (2 times per year). All cleaning supplies and equipment must be provided by the contractor.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 24, 2025, and will run through December 31, 2029. There is an option for a one-year extension.

Janitorial services will be performed at various locations in Huber Heights, Ohio including:

- City Hall at 6131 Taylorsville Rd.
- Police Building at 6121 Taylorsville Rd.
- Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce at 6428 Chambersburg Rd.
- Montgomery County Municipal Court at 6111 Taylorsville Rd.
- HHCC at 4301 Powell Rd.
- Division of Taxation at 6232 Chambersburg Rd.
