IBM Server Hardware Maintenance and Support

Background
The Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) is seeking to procure maintenance and support services for IBM server hardware. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of the hardware used by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The contract will cover a one-year period, with potential for renewal based on mutual agreement.

Work Details
The Independent Contractor will provide maintenance and support services for the IBM server hardware as specified in the attached hardware serial number spreadsheet. This includes:

1. Regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure optimal performance of all listed hardware.
2. Technical support services to address any issues that arise during the contract period.
3. Replacement parts as necessary to maintain functionality, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
4. Documentation of all maintenance activities and support incidents for record-keeping and compliance purposes.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of a purchase order and will remain effective until June 30, 20XX, with potential renewals not exceeding twenty-four months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at locations designated by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, primarily within Ohio.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws in performing work under this Agreement. They must also have appropriate licenses and certifications relevant to providing IT maintenance and support services. Additionally, the Independent Contractor must not be subject to any debarment from contract awards by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.
