Gator Tail Boat, Motor, and Trailer For DOW D4 Law Enforcement

Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, specifically the Division of Wildlife, District 4 Law Enforcement, is seeking bids for the procurement of a new 18-foot Gator Tail aluminum boat equipped with a Gator Tail motor and trailer. The purpose of this contract is to enhance law enforcement capabilities in wildlife management and protection efforts within the state.

Work Details
The contractor will provide one (1) new 18-foot GatorTail dual center console style aluminum boat, motor, and trailer that meet the following specifications:

- Model: 2026 18/60 Extreme Series
- Steering drive hull with full flotation
- 22” sides and T-Rail Gunnel
- Performance step hull design with a 21” transom
- Constructed from 1/8” thick 5086 marine aluminum hull
- Proprietary design extruded longitudinal runners
- Features include:
- A 4-foot front deck
- Front deck access hatch
- Performance sidewall crimp
- Full floor (no gutters)
- Stabilizer kit
- Welded gun boxes on both sides
- Rear dual pods
- Drop deck transom
- Modified 'V' bottom with point
- Console storage box/seat pod installed (18 x 18)
- Swamp light and bracket LED installed
- Two rigid LED spotlights for navigation with bracket and plug connector mounted to the boat
- Battery and battery on/off switch with battery box
- A 9-gallon gas tank with gas line and quick connectors
- Max it out LED anchor lights
- Auto bilge pump with switch and hose
- Navigation lights mounted in the boat.
The seating package includes swivel mount seats with custom Gator Tail logo. The motor provided will be a 2026 Gator Tail 40 HP EFI XD LS model tall transom with reverse capabilities. Additionally, a trolling motor battery package (24V Lithium) will be included along with a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor. The trailer will be a McClain Heavy Duty galvanized model designed for an 18ft boat including various safety features such as side guides and an LED light package.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will remain valid until June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the boat, motor, and trailer is specified as either directly to 360 East State Street, Athens, Ohio 45701 or at a servicing dealer within a radius of 200 miles from Athens.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding equal employment opportunity. There are no specific MBE set-asides for this solicitation. Bidders must ensure they are registered with the Ohio Secretary of State if applicable. All invoices must be submitted directly to Financial Shared Services (FSS) following specific guidelines outlined in the solicitation.
