Fleet & Cormany Garage Renovations

Background
The City of Cincinnati is seeking bids for renovations to the Fleet and Cormany garages. This project aims to enhance the facilities through various repairs and upgrades, aligning with the city's commitment to maintaining its infrastructure and services.

The Office of Procurement is managing this solicitation as part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve public service facilities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Structural repairs
- Mechanical equipment replacements
- Electrical systems upgrades
- Installation of a fire alarm system
- New windows installation
- Plumbing work
- General repairs to the buildings.

All work must adhere to specified standards outlined in the bid documents including Exhibit A (Wage Determination and Contractor Affidavits), Exhibit B (City of Cincinnati Standard Specification No. 4-1-21), Volume 4 (Construction Document Specifications), Volume 5 (Fleet Bid Drawings), and Volume 6 (Cormany Bid Drawings).

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to start work within five calendar days from receipt of written notice to begin work. All on-site work must be completed within 365 calendar days from that notice.

Place of Performance
The renovations will take place at the Fleet Services building located at 1106 Bates Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45225.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the City’s Vendor Self Service system. The contract requires compliance with M/WBE participation goals:
- General Construction: 9% MBE and 3.5% WBE
- Plumbing: 3% MBE
- Electrical: 4% MBE and 7% WBE
- Mechanical: no goals
- Combo: 8% MBE and 3.5% WBE.

Bidders must also provide proof of insurance as specified in the bid documents.
