Engineering Design Services for Broad Ave NW Area Waterline Replacement TAG 690 and Dee Mar Allotment Waterline Replacement TAG 691

Background
The City of Canton, Ohio, through its Water Department, is seeking engineering firms to provide design services for two separate waterline replacement projects: Broad Ave NW Area Waterline Replacement (TAG 690) and Dee Mar Allotment Waterline Replacement (TAG 691).
The goal is to enhance the water distribution network in these areas.

Work Details
The engineering design services required include:
- Broad Ave NW Area Waterline Replacement – TAG 690:
- Location: Broad Ave NW from 17th St NW to Fulton Rd NW; 21st St NW from Lakeside Ave NW to Clarendon Ave NW; 20th St NW from Lakeside Ave NW to Broad Ave NW; 19th St NW from Broad Ave NW to Clarendon Ave NW; Demington Ave NW from 20th St NW to approximately 125’ South; Clarendon Ave NW from 19th St NW to approximately 75’ South.
- Scope: Replacement of approximately 600 LF of 4” waterline, 1,500 LF of 6” waterline, and 5,600 LF of 8” waterline. Installation of valves, hydrants, services, and reconnection to the existing water distribution network.

- Dee Mar Allotment Waterline Replacement – TAG 691:
- Location: Leona Ave SW from Fohl St SW to Northern Dead-end; Dee Mar Ave SW from Darletta St SW to Drenta Cir SW; Drenta Cir SW from Leona St SW (S) to Leona St SW (N); Emil Ave SW from Margie Cir SW to Darletta St SW; Margie Cir SW from Emil Ave SW to Cul-de-sac; Dee Dee Cir SW from Emil Ave SW to Cul-de-sac; Darletta St SW from Emil Ave SW to Drenta Cir SW; Valerius St SW from Drenta Cir SW to Leona Ave SW; Mildred Cir SW from Valerius Cir SW to Cul-de-sac.
- Scope: Replacement of approximately 170 LF of 4” waterline, 2,750 LF of 6” waterline, and 6,950 LF of 8” waterline. Installation of valves, hydrants, services, and reconnection to the existing water distribution network.

Period of Performance
Construction is estimated to begin in July of 2026 with OPWC submission expected in September of 2025.

Place of Performance
The projects will be performed in various locations within the City of Canton, Ohio.
