DOW/OPS-Laser Shaft Alignment Tool
Background
The City of Columbus is seeking to procure a Laser Shaft Alignment Tool to enhance their operational capabilities. The goal of this contract is to provide a high-quality alignment device that meets specific technical standards and requirements for use in maintenance and operational tasks.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of one Easy-Laser XT660 Laser Shaft Alignment Device or an approved equal. The device must include:
- A hardcase storage and carrying case
- A tablet with a minimum 12-megapixel display and camera
- All components meeting IP66 and IP67 protection standards

The measuring units must display angles, have wireless communication capabilities, dual laser beams, and two PSDs. Additionally, the following items must be included:
- Shaft brackets with 500 mm chains and 120 mm rods
- Two sets of 900 mm extension chains
- Four sets of 75 mm extendable rods
- Eight sets of 120 mm extendable rods
- A chain bracket with a minimum size of 1400 mm x ½”

The device should support various measurement methods including continuous sweep, uncoupled sweep, multi-point, and specific configurations (9-12-3). It must have internal memory with USB options for file storage in Excel or PDF format, AC and DC charging capabilities, and a battery life of at least 12 hours. The units should arrive fully assembled and ready for use with a warranty period of at least 12 months on parts and labor.

Bidders are required to submit dealer’s build sheets with their bid. Upon delivery, the successful bidder must provide two copies of all parts lists, service manuals, maintenance manuals, and operation manuals, preferably on CD-ROM. An additional line item includes providing an alignment operation demonstration course for up to 10 persons at the specified location.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed upon delivery of the equipment as specified in the solicitation.

The equipment will be delivered to 910 Dublin Rd, Columbus OH 43215.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit dealer’s build sheets with their bid. All alternate equipment offered requires detailed attachments identifying the Manufacturer and Model Name/Number.
