Sealed bids wills be received by the Division of Purchasing, City of Upper Arlington, Lower Level Conference Room, 3600 Tremont Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43221 until 3:00 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time on July 18, 2025 for the following project: DEVON POOL TODDLER FEATURE Pre-bid meeting will be held on July 14, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, City of Upper Arlington, Devon Pool, 2070 South Mallway Drive, Upper Arlington 43221. Deadline for questions, submitted on the IonWave page by July 15, 2025 by 3:00 P.M. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all non-conforming responsive or conditional bids. Requirements of the City of Upper Arlington Affirmative Action Program are applicable. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, handicap status, or veteran status. These bids will be opened and publicly read at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time on July 18, 2025. The City of Upper Arlington encourages all businesses, including minority and women-owned businesses to respond.
Background
The City of Upper Arlington is issuing a solicitation for the Devon Pool Toddler Feature project, aimed at enhancing community recreational facilities. Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. **Alternates**:
- **Alternate No. 01**: Add new steps into existing leisure pool (Pool A).
- **Alternate No. 02**: Replace existing retaining wall around new wading pool (Pool B).
- **Alternate No. 03**: Provide expedited pool design documents by pool contractor with Ohio Department of Health submission.

2. **Construction Specifications**:
- Fiberglass reinforced polyester doors and aluminum frames will be provided as part of the project. The doors will include louvers and must comply with various ASTM standards for materials and performance.
- Door hardware will include mechanical door hardware, cylinders, and other specified components necessary for functionality and compliance with safety codes.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and is scheduled to be completed by July 18, 2025.
