Design-Build Skate Park Facility for Camp Washington Rec

Background
The City of Cincinnati, Ohio, is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) pursuant to the provisions of the Cincinnati Municipal Code (CMC), Chapter 321 and City Manager Administrative Regulation 23 for Professional Services, from parties, (hereinafter 'Offerors). The RFQ is the first in a two-step best-value process consisting of this RFQ and subsequent RFP. Submissions for the RFQ shall be reviewed and no less than two teams will be shortlisted as the most qualified teams based on the qualification criteria established in this RFQ.

The Offeror shall provide services associated with the complete design and construction of a new pour-in-place concrete Skate Park at Camp Washington Recreation Complex.

Work Details
The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is requesting Requests for Qualifications from qualified municipal skatepark development firms for Architectural and Engineering Services to design and install the new pour-in-place concrete Skatepark Project. The intent of the project is for the elected firm to provide complete engineering and design services including conceptual and schematic design, final plans and specifications, engineering cost estimate(s), contract documentation and construction of the skatepark facility at the Camp Washington Recreation Complex, at 1201 Stock Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45225, that meets the City of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Recreation Commission standards.

The design team shall also serve as project architect/engineer throughout the duration of the project through closeout.

Period of Performance
The term of this Agreement shall commence on the effective date of the Agreement. The term of this Agreement shall be for twelve (12) months to design and install the skatepark. If the project is to be done in phases due to limited funding, the contract may be extended. The design phase is to be complete in 90 days, construction should start within 90 days after design is accepted and construction to be complete within six months after starting.
