Daytime Janitorial Services at the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center

Background
The METRO Regional Transit Authority is soliciting proposals for Daytime Janitorial Services at the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center. The agency's mission is to provide safe and reliable transit services to the community. This contract aims to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the transit center, enhancing the overall experience for users.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive daytime janitorial services at the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center. This includes but is not limited to:

- Regular cleaning of all public areas, restrooms, and offices.
- Maintenance of cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
- Specific tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed.

The scope of work document provides detailed specifications on cleaning frequencies and methods to be employed.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is set for three (3) years with two (2) optional one-year extensions, starting after board approval and contract signing.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center located at 416 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44301.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal civil rights laws and regulations. They are required to submit an affidavit certifying that they are not debarred or suspended by the Federal Government. Additionally, bidders must demonstrate good faith efforts to involve Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in their proposals.
