Background
The State of Ohio, through the Department of Administrative Services, Office of Procurement Services, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for a wireless lifecycle management provider. The goal is to design, implement, manage, and maintain a cost-efficient and productive wireless device strategy.
The current vendor provides mobile device lifecycle support including Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) via Microsoft Intune and VMWare Workspace ONE, asset management, procurement support through a Mobile Device Portal, administrative activities such as billing and reporting, and device recycling.
Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive solutions in four key areas: Support (24/7 Helpdesk, high-quality service), Procurement and Inventory (asset management, Mobile Device Portal), Administration (billing, reporting), and Unified Endpoint Management (Intune and Workspace ONE).
Specific tasks include:
1. Establishing a Mobile Device Portal for procurement and management of devices;
2. Providing 24/7 support for the statewide wireless fleet;
3. Managing the full lifecycle of enterprise-owned devices;
4. Ensuring efficient electronic invoicing via EDI;
5. Maintaining visibility at the State level regarding device usage;
6. Offering customer satisfaction surveys post-support interactions;
7. Conducting quarterly strategic business reviews with OIT;
8. Providing training to State staff upon initial setup and ongoing training support.
Period of Performance
The contract term will be as set forth in Part 8 of the Draft Contract with an option for renewal at the State's discretion for one month at a time based on satisfactory performance.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the State of Ohio.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be registered with Ohio Shared Services to do business in Ohio. They must provide evidence of their registration along with completed forms including Offeror Certification Form, Offeror Registration Form, Independent Contractor Acknowledgement Form, Subcontractor Utilization Form, Offeror Profile Form detailing their capability and experience, and other specified forms related to project experience and qualifications.
