Cooper Hollow Wetland Dredging

Background
The Ohio Division of Wildlife, Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area, has issued a solicitation for the removal of vegetation and soil in an approximately 11,155 square yard area. The purpose of the contract is to dredge the wetland at Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area to a median depth of 18”-24” below the set grade pins. The work involves removing all woody vegetation, excavating disturbed soil, and hauling fill to a separate location.

Work Details
The contractor is required to remove all vegetation and soil to a median depth of 18”-24” below the level of set grade pins on an approximately 11,155 square yard area. All woody vegetation shall be removed and placed along the boundary of the wetland in the Northeast corner.
All disturbed soil inside of the boundary of the wetland must be excavated and removed from the site. The bottom of excavated area should vary between 18” and 24”. All fill removed shall be hauled to a separate location and dumped on the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area off Rempel Road.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed by September 1st, 2024.
