City of Fairview Park Trades RFQ 2025 - Plumbing

Background
The City of Fairview Park, Ohio is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified firms to provide plumbing services for municipal buildings and infrastructure. The goal is to establish a pool of licensed and experienced plumbers or plumbing contracting firms that can offer on-call and project-based services from 2025 to 2027.

Work Details
The selected plumbing firms will be responsible for various services including:

- Emergency plumbing repair and response
- Installation and repair of plumbing fixtures and piping
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
- Backflow testing and certification
- Sewer and drain cleaning
- Leak detection and repair
- Replacement of water heaters and boilers
- Plumbing system upgrades to meet code requirements
- Support for capital improvement and renovation projects.

Work sites may include municipal offices, public buildings, parks, recreational facilities, pump stations, water facilities, public restrooms, shelters, and other municipal properties.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period from 2025 to 2027.

The services will be performed in Fairview Park, Ohio at various municipal locations.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must have a valid Ohio plumbing contractor’s license, a minimum of five years of experience providing plumbing services to public agencies or municipalities, proof of insurance coverage (General Liability, Workers Compensation), and the ability to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Additionally, submissions must include:

- List of key personnel with resumes
- Relevant experience with similar clients
- Three references
- A copy of plumbing licenses
- Proof of insurance
- Optionally a rate schedule.
