CDC Broadview Building Flooring

Background
The Columbus Developmental Center, operated by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), is a Medicaid-certified Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID).
The goal of this contract is to facilitate the demo and disposal of existing flooring and the installation of new premium wood luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring in the Broadview building.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Demolition and disposal of existing vinyl composite tile (VCT).
2. Installation of approximately 36,000 square feet of new premium wood luxury vinyl tile (LVT), specifically 2.5 mm Johnsonite ID Inspiration, Natural Vintage Teak LVT.
3. Installation of ½” quarter round to match existing trim where needed after new flooring is installed.
4. Providing an on-site dumpster for material disposal.
5. Moving furniture as necessary to access floors and returning it to its original location.
The contractor must ensure that all work is performed by trained personnel directly employed and supervised by them.

Period of Performance
The initial awarded contract is estimated to become effective on October 15, 2025, and remain effective through June 30, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and registrations throughout the term of the contract.
They must not employ individuals who have been found guilty of certain offenses as outlined in Section 5123.08(1), (2), or (3) of the Ohio Revised Code.
Contractors are required to comply with OSHA standards for safety and must provide proof that they are not subject to an unresolved finding for recovery under Section 9.24 of the Ohio Revised Code.
