CCI Cable TV Services

Background
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for Cable TV Services at Chillicothe Correctional Institution. ODRC is the largest agency in the State of Ohio, consisting of twenty-five state-administered adult correctional institutions and three privately-operated institutions. The mission of ODRC is to reduce recidivism among those they touch, and their values are aligned to support this mission.
The Chillicothe Correctional Institution is a Level 1/2 (Minimum/Medium) Security Facility located in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing coax cable TV services to 2900 incarcerated persons at their bed areas and 22 Day Room televisions. Vendors have the option to utilize the facility’s current satellite system equipment which provides access to nineteen required channels. The Cost Summary will need to include pricing for the monthly billing of 78 satellite receivers as well as requested equipment, service calls, repairs, and warranty of equipment.
The service period is from April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with additional renewals based upon mutual agreement. The project description specifies that the service should be implemented within 30 days of contract implementation.

Period of Performance
The term of the Contract will be from the award date through June 30, 2025, with further renewals subject to mutual agreement between the Contractor and ODRC for any number of times and for any period of time. The cumulative time of all mutual renewals may not exceed four years and is contingent upon the discretionary decision of the Ohio General Assembly to appropriate funds for this Contract in each new biennium.

The services will be performed at Chillicothe Correctional Institution in Chillicothe, Ohio.
