BMV Signature Pads ATPS RFI

Background
The Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) and the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) are seeking Letters of Interest from contractors to provide hardware devices that enhance customer experience by allowing electronic review and signing of documents.

The goal is to deploy specialized hardware at remote Title Office locations to facilitate the capture of customer signatures and enable clerks to notarize documents electronically.

Work Details
Contractors must provide hardware devices that meet the following requirements:
- Connect via USB to a Windows device
- Render PDF and/or PNG files on the screen for signature
- Offer a Windows SDK or REST API via USB for interaction with the device (including options to turn the display on/off)
- Not store sensitive data on the device
- Be assembled in the USA
- Have a screen size of 10 inches or more.

Optional features include NFC capability for reading Mobile Driver Licenses per ISO/IEC 18013-5 specifications and ensuring the device does not allow direct input onto the connected Windows device, functioning instead as a separate hardware controlled by the SDK.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at remote Title Office locations in Ohio.
