Blackmore Auto Dibbler

Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry is seeking bids for the procurement of a Blackmore Auto Dibbler, which is essential for their operations at the Buckeye State Tree Nursery.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency of planting operations by utilizing a dibbler system that integrates with their existing Ellepot machine, thereby supporting their mission to manage and conserve Ohio's natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a Blackmore Auto Dibbler with the following specifications:
- Length: 6 feet (1.82 m)
- Width: 68 inches (1.72 m)
- Height: Adjustable
- Weight: 1134 lbs (605 kg)
- Utility Requirements: 120 VAC 50/60 Hz

Specifications include:
- Engineered specifically for Ellepots and designed to work in sync with the Ellepot machine.
- Capable of preparing Ellepots for sticking, dibbling, or drilling.
- Features a sticking head that creates small holes for inserting soft cuttings into Ellepots and a drill head for making larger holes suitable for transplanting from smaller trays.
- Maintains even compaction while drilling and allows for recycling of removed soil media.
- Includes a drill plate for 21 Count Air Tray, ½” Auto Drill Bits, and a drilling depth of 40MM.
- Adaptable to fit multiple sizes of trays and pots with the ability to compress dibble.

Freight costs must be included in the quote.

Period of Performance
The delivery date for the Blackmore Auto Dibbler is set for April 14, 2025, or earlier.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Buckeye State Tree Nursery located at 5940 Memory Rd., Zanesville, OH 43701.
