Audio Visual Upgrades Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy

Background
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investing in the technological capability of the Academy’s Leadership Auditorium, Leadership Conference Room, Gymnasium, and facility-wide broadcast. The goal is to enhance audio/visual components to support the division's purposes. OSHP seeks turnkey upgrades that align with industry standards while ensuring self-sufficiency during usage.

Work Details
The project involves upgrading audio/visual systems in various locations within the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy. Key components include:

1. **Speakers and Sound**:
- Leadership Auditorium: Must meet or exceed maximum seating capacity; existing equipment/wiring may be utilized; must integrate with existing audio mixer board.
- Gymnasium: Must meet or exceed maximum seating capacity for presenters on stage; existing equipment/wiring may be utilized, but speakers must be replaced.

2. **Microphones**:
- Leadership Auditorium (4-channel): Four wireless handhelds and four Lavalier/lapel units.
- Gymnasium (4-channel): Four wireless handhelds and four Lavalier/lapel units.

3. **Displays and Visual**:
- Leadership Auditorium: Two front projectors (utilizing existing screens) and one rear projector (new manual screen).
- Leadership Conference Room: One ultra-short throw projector (utilizing existing projection wall).
- Gymnasium: Two long-distance projectors (one replacement, one new), utilizing and repositioning existing screen, plus one new screen.

4. **Video and Recording**:
- Leadership Auditorium: One pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) auto-tracking camera.
- Gymnasium: One SDI connection for external camera equipment.

5. **Control Systems**: Complete replacement of all A/V control equipment in both primary and secondary control rooms, with exceptions for specific existing equipment; remote touch panel controls at multiple locations.

Period of Performance
The target completion date for the project is December 30th, 2024.
