Asbestos Surveys And Abatement--Rebid

Background
The City of Cincinnati is issuing this solicitation for asbestos surveys and abatement services as part of its commitment to maintain safe and healthy environments in its facilities. The contract aims to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations regarding asbestos work, specifically targeting the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM). This initiative is crucial for protecting public health and safety within city-owned properties.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to conduct asbestos surveys and properly remove and dispose of ACM in designated City facilities. The work includes:
1. Conducting comprehensive asbestos surveys in accordance with OSHA Class I and Class II Asbestos Work specifications.
2. Removal and disposal of ACM as per detailed specifications outlined in the bid document.
3. Compliance with City of Cincinnati Standard Specification No. 4-1-21, May 28, 2021, and applicable OSHA safety regulations.
4. All costs related to materials, labor, equipment, personal safety, overhead expenses, insurance, performance surety, and profit must be included in the bid amounts.
5. The contractor will complete individual work orders issued by Delivery Order (DO) on an as-needed basis.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will last for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the effective date.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various City facilities located within the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
