Armed Security Guard Services For Beightler Armory, Green Army Aviation Support Facility And Camp James A. Garfield

Background
The Adjutant General’s Department of Ohio is seeking proposals for Armed Security Guard Services to be provided at three locations: Beightler Armory, Green Army Aviation Support Facility, and Camp James A. Garfield.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of these facilities through licensed armed security personnel. The contract will be in effect from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, with the possibility of three one-year renewals based on performance and mutual agreement.

Work Details
The contractor will provide armed security guards for Installation Entry Control (IEC), Visitor Control (VC), Vehicle Inspection (VI), and Building Checks (BC). Specific requirements include:
- Two guards per shift at Beightler Armory for 217 days at a minimum rate of $23.00 per hour;
- Three guards per shift at Green Army Aviation Support Facility for 365 days at a minimum rate of $23.00 per hour;
- Eight guards per shift at Camp James A. Garfield for 365 days at a minimum rate of $23.00 per hour;
- Supervisors will be paid a minimum rate of $27.00 per hour. All security personnel must be licensed according to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4749 and must have formal law enforcement training approved by the Adjutant General’s Department.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with options for three additional one-year renewals based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the following locations:
- Beightler Armory (2825 W Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235)
- Green Army Aviation Support Facility #1 (5989 W. Airport Drive, Green, Ohio)
- Camp James A. Garfield (8451 State Route 5, Ravenna, OH 44266).
