Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing Invitation No. 862-26 to establish a statewide, term contract for the delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete across various counties in Ohio. This contract aims to meet the Department's needs for concrete on an as-needed basis, ensuring timely and efficient procurement for construction and maintenance projects.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Ready-Mix Concrete deliveries to any county listed on the Department’s Excel pricing page. The contract requires vendors to submit two net unit bid prices based on haul distances: one for hauls less than or equal to 15 miles and another for hauls greater than 15 miles but less than or equal to 30 miles.

The minimum order quantity is set at 3 cubic yards, and delivery must occur within 24 hours after receiving a valid State of Ohio purchase order. Additionally, all concrete mix designs must adhere to current ODOT Construction and Materials Specifications, including specific requirements for low strength concrete, low strength mortar, fast-setting concrete, and flowable grout mix. Vendors must ensure that their mixing plants are certified by ODOT's Office of Materials Management.

Period of Performance
The contract will remain effective from the date of execution until March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to various counties in Ohio as specified in the Department’s Excel pricing page.
