Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish contract pricing for comprehensive lawn and landscape maintenance services at the District 6 Roadside Rest Areas located on Interstate 71 in Fayette County. This includes specific locations at Mile Marker 67.79 Northbound and Mile Marker 67.45 Southbound in Jeffersonville, OH. The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep of these facilities, which were recently reconstructed with enhanced landscape features utilizing Ohio native plantings.

Work Details
The awarded vendor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary for the following services:

- Monthly comprehensive lawn and landscape maintenance
- Routine mowing and trimming
- Sidewalk edging
- Pruning and trimming of trees and shrubs
- Weed control in mulched areas, turf areas, and planting beds
- Spring and fall cleanup services
- Application of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides
- Soil analysis including testing for nutrient composition
- Adequate watering of plants throughout the contract duration
- Maintaining a detailed log of maintenance activities
- Conducting regular meetings with ODOT representatives to review progress.

The vendor must also ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness at work sites.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through December 31, 2026.

Services will be performed at the District 6 Roadside Rest Areas located on Interstate 71 Northbound at Mile Marker 67.79 and Southbound at Mile Marker 67.45 in Jeffersonville, OH 43128.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in providing similar services. They are required to furnish proof of current liability insurance coverage with limits not less than $300,000 for any one person and $1 million for any one occurrence. Additionally, bidders must provide references from three clients for whom they have performed similar work within the last five years.
