2026 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Work Requested:
The City of Grove City is seeking bids for the 2026 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project. The scope of work includes:

• Rehabilitation of approximately 3,113 linear feet of 8-inch sewer using CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) liner
• Rehabilitation of approximately 1,265 linear feet of 12-inch sewer with CIPP liner
• Rehabilitation of approximately 319 linear feet of 15-inch sewer with CIPP liner
• Installation of 4 CIPP short liners
• Chemical grouting in 4 areas to mitigate infiltration
• Repair of 29 manholes
• Installation of 1 new manhole

Who is Requesting:
This solicitation is issued by the City of Grove City, through the City Administrator.

Background:
The City of Grove City is undertaking this project to rehabilitate its sanitary sewer infrastructure as outlined in the project plans and specifications.

Contract Requirements:
The estimated construction cost for the base bid is $481,000.00.

The contractor must commence work within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Instructions on Submission:
Sealed bids must be submitted via Bid Express by 11:00 a.m. local time on May 15, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be opened or accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the specified time and place.

The City of Grove City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s).
