2026 Forfeited Land Sale Publication/Advertising

Background
Cuyahoga County is conducting a Forfeited Land Sale to sell parcels of real property that have been forfeited to the State of Ohio due to long-term tax delinquency. The goal of this contract is to publish and advertise the sale of these properties, which cannot be sold to individuals who are delinquent on real estate taxes anywhere in Ohio. The properties will be offered for sale at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for two publications of the list of forfeited lands and vacant lands in Cuyahoga County as mandated by ORC 5723.05. The publications will appear once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in Cuyahoga County. Each publication must include the parcel number, case number, owner, and opening bid for approximately 1,200 parcels.

Additionally, a notice must be attached stating that the delinquent lands will be offered for sale unless the associated taxes, assessments, interest, and penalties are paid. The contractor must provide proof of publication along with an invoice and copies of each publication. The font size for the advertisement is specified as 6.1, and changes to the advertisement may be required up until noon on designated Fridays before publication.

The contract period will encompass the publication dates tentatively scheduled for July 2x and August x in 2026.

The publications will be distributed in a newspaper with general circulation within Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
