Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish a term contract for Self-Propelled Road Widener Units. This contract aims to enhance the operational capabilities of ODOT in maintaining and improving road infrastructure across the state. The goal is to procure high-quality road widening equipment that meets specific performance standards and regulatory requirements.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of Self-Propelled Road Widener Units, specifically:

- 6' Road Widener
- 10' Road Widener
- 12' Road Widener

Each unit must meet the following specifications:

1. **General Requirements**:
- Bid must be the most current model year available.
- Minimum operating weight: 18,000 lbs for 6', 23,000 lbs for 10', and 27,000 lbs for 12'.
- Features include two-wheel steering, oscillating push rollers, extendable push rollers, and movable control stations.

2. **Engine Specifications**:
- EPA Tier 4 Final emissions certified turbocharged diesel engine.
- Minimum net horsepower: 70HP for 6', 100HP for 10', and 120HP for 12'.

3. **Hopper and Conveyor**:
- Minimum hopper capacity of 2 cubic yards.
- Conveyor minimum spread width: 6' for the 6', 10' for the 10', and 12' for the 12'.

4. **Work Tools**:
- Standard tool tray, remote strike-off controls, and hydraulically controlled telescoping strike-off tools.

5. **Lighting & Alarms**:
- Factory LED strobes with backup alarms.

6. **Warranty/Manuals**:
- Manufacturer’s standard warranty package and complete manuals must be provided.

Period of Performance
The effective duration of this contract shall be twelve (12) months from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made Free on Board (F.O.B.) Destination to any of ODOT’s twelve (12) Districts and eighty-eight (88) county destination locations in the State of Ohio.
