112A-26 Statewide Facilitiy Generator Maintenance And Service Requirements/Specifications

Background
The State of Ohio, Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish contract pricing for inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair services for emergency power generators and associated systems.
This contract aims to ensure the operational readiness of these systems across various locations in ODOT Districts 1 through 12 and ODOT Central Office Facilities.

Work Details
The vendor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary for the following services:
- Inspection and testing of emergency power generators.
- Preventive maintenance including coolant level checks, fuel filter replacements, air cleaner cleaning, engine tune-ups, and more.
- Repair services for non-critical generator work during normal business hours and emergency call-out service for critical repairs.
- Temporary rental and replacement generators as needed within 24 hours of request.
- Annual inspections must include compliance with state and federal regulations.
- The vendor must maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through April 30, 2027, with an option for a one-year renewal extending to no later than April 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations across all ODOT Districts (1 through 12) and ODOT Central Office Facilities in Ohio.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in similar services and provide proof of current liability insurance coverage with limits of at least $300,000 per person and $1 million per occurrence.
Bidders must also register as a State of Ohio Supplier with an OAKS vendor identification number within fourteen days from contract award.
