101G-27 Asphalt Concrete, Bituminous Mixes, Equipment Rental, and Material Hauling

Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this invitation to bid to establish a term contract for the provision of Asphalt Concrete, other Bituminous Mixes, Labor rates, Material Hauling, and Equipment rental.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that all materials and services provided comply with the current ODOT Construction & Material Specification Book (C&MS) at the time of award.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Asphalt Concrete and various Bituminous Mixes as specified in the contract. This includes labor rates for work performed, material hauling services, and equipment rental.
All products must conform to the specifications outlined in the current C&MS book. Bidders are required to submit unit bid pricing for multiple plant locations and must complete an Excel pricing page for each location.
The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all mixing operations and plants supplying material meet applicable requirements contained in the C&MS at the time of award. Additionally, the contractor must provide quality control as directed by ODOT, including Job Mix Formulas (JMF) for asphalt mixtures and compliance with testing protocols for acceptance.

Period of Performance
The effective duration of this contract shall be from the Date of Execution through February 28, 2027.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include various sites across Ohio as designated by ODOT.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a valid AWP Code at the time of bid closing. They are required to comply with Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws and ensure that any sub-vendors used are pre-approved by ODOT.
Additionally, bidders must be registered suppliers with the State of Ohio through the OhioPays Portal.
