061-25 Security Gates, Fencing & Associated Components

Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish contract pricing for the service, maintenance, repair/emergency repair, replacement, and new installations of security gates, operators, fencing, and associated components.
This initiative aims to enhance the security infrastructure across various locations within ODOT Districts 1, 6, and 7.

Work Details
The awarded vendor will provide a range of services including:
- Standard, scheduled, and emergency repair services for gates, operators, fencing, and associated components.
- Removal of existing perimeter security gates.
- Furnishing and installation of new perimeter security gates.
- Removal and/or installation of new concrete pads, footings, and bases.
- Electrical system repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Coordination with current ODOT access/security vendors for repairs/modifications (cost covered by ODOT).
- Welding and fabrication of steel.
- Removal of existing gate operators and installation of new ones.
- Repair or installation of new fencing materials as required or requested.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations in ODOT Districts 1 (Lima), 6 (Delaware), and 7 (Sidney), Ohio.
