Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish pricing for lawn care and landscaping services for approximately 5.5 acres at the District 6 Headquarters.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the property in accordance with specified terms and conditions.

Work Details
The vendor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary for the following services:
1. Pre-Season Cleanup: Cleaning/raking of lawn areas, trimming/pruning of bushes and shrubs, leveling and reseeding damaged areas.
2. Edging: Mechanical edging of sidewalks, curb lines, and planting bed edges with specified frequencies.
3. Installation of Dark Hardwood Mulch: Labor-only quote for installation at a depth of 2-3 inches in designated areas.
4. Weeding: Weekly removal of weeds from flower beds and other specified areas using herbicides as needed.
5. Turf Management: Includes soil analysis, fertilization program development, aeration, and repair of grass areas as directed.
6. Mowing and Trimming: Approximately 30 cuts per season to maintain grass height between 3-4 inches from April 1 to November 30.
7. End-of-Season Cleanup: Similar to pre-season cleanup but conducted between November 15 and December 15.
8. Vendor Coordination: A single contact point for scheduling and administration is required.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026, with an option for a one-year renewal extending to December 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Ohio Department of Transportation District 6 Headquarters Facility located at 400 E. William Street, Delaware, OH 43015.
