Window Shades Replacement

Background
Tompkins Cortland Community College, located in Dryden, New York, is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of window shades in the TC3 Main Building. The college aims to enhance its facilities through this project, which is part of its ongoing commitment to maintain and improve campus infrastructure.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the provision and installation of various manual clutch roller shades with surface headboxes. Specific requirements include:

- **TC3 Cafeteria Section:** 30 units of 60" x 118", 2 units of 60" x 48", 10 units of 60" x 142", and 2 units of 60" x 142" using SheerWeave PW3500 fabric (5% openness) and Draper Clutch Flexshade NEXD.

- **TC3 Atrium:** 22 units including sizes of 60" x 166", 60" x 56", and multiple units of 60" x 142".

- **Rooms 229, 248, and 230:** A total of 34 units sized at 60" x 51".

- **Courtyard Area:** Various sizes including two units at 108" x 66", two at 118" x 66", one at 58" x 66", one at 106" x 66", and one at 105.5" x 66".

All pricing must include materials, labor, demo, removal, and disposal of existing window treatments.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for a period of 90 days from the agreement date. Work is expected to commence immediately upon delivery of materials.

The work will be performed at Tompkins Cortland Community College located at 170 North Street, Dryden, NY.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders are required to submit a Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate with their bid. Additionally, bidders must maintain specific insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability with a minimum limit of $1 million per occurrence, and Commercial Automobile Liability Insurance. The contractor must also comply with New York State prevailing wage rates.
