Westbury Ave. Improvements, Carle Place, NY DPW Project No. 25-04

Background
The Town of North Hempstead's Department of Public Works is issuing a contract for the Westbury Avenue Improvements project. This project aims to enhance streetscape and roadway conditions along Westbury Avenue from Jamaica Blvd. to Carle Rd. It is partially funded through a federal grant administered by the United States Treasury.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Removal and replacement of curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons, and curb ramps;
- Installation of new drainage structures and modifications to existing ones;
- Replacement of concrete top slabs;
- Milling and paving of the roadway;
- Installation of new pavement markings;

- Removal and replacement of select trees.

They must also complete a Contractor's Qualifications Statement and provide a Statement of Financial Conditions. All bonding and insurance companies must be licensed to do business in New York State.
