Background
The County of Orange is seeking a vendor to provide Water Treatment Services for HVAC Systems, which includes closed loop heating systems and cooling towers. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance, testing, and certification of these systems to support the County's operational needs.
Work Details
The vendor will provide comprehensive water treatment services for HVAC systems, including but not limited to: inspections, testing, certifications, water treatment, maintenance plans, cleaning, disinfection, repairs, and all required certifications as needed at various locations requested by the County.
Specific tasks include:
1. Conducting routine bacteriological culture sampling and analysis for cooling towers.
2. Providing a Maintenance Program Plan for each cooling tower and preventive maintenance schedule for all HVAC Systems.
3. Performing monthly reports detailing system services, treatment provided, field testing results, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken.
4. Responding to non-emergency service calls within four hours and emergency calls within two hours.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue for a specified term as outlined in the contract documents.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout Orange County including but not limited to: County Court Facility in Goshen, OCCF in Goshen, Emergency Services Center in Goshen, Medical Examiner’s Office in Goshen, Department of Public Works Admin Building in Goshen, Maple Building in Newburgh, Valley View Rehabilitation Center in Goshen, Orange County Government Center in Goshen, Middletown Community Campus in Middletown, and Orange County Transfer Station #1 in New Hampton.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years of experience providing similar services. They must also be registered with the New York State Department of Labor as required by Labor Law §220-i. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to submit proposals that include Minority- and/or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation.
