Washed Whole-Kernel Corn for Long Island Parks

Background
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking to procure washed whole-kernel corn for use in 4-poster tick control devices as deer feed. This procurement aims to support wildlife management and public health efforts across various state parks in Long Island.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying a total of 2,420 bags of washed whole-kernel corn, each weighing 50 lbs. The specific quantities required at each park location are as follows:
- Connetquot River State Park Preserve: 1,200 bags (30 tons)
- Heckscher State Park: 360 bags (9 tons)
- Robert Moses State Park: 400 bags (10 tons)
- Wildwood State Park: 460 bags (11.5 tons).
Deliveries will be made as requested by the parks, and all delivery trucks must be equipped with a liftgate. Pricing must remain valid through March 31, 2026.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to various locations in Suffolk County, New York, specifically the four state parks mentioned above.

Bidder Requirements
There are no set-aside certifications required for this procurement. However, bidders are encouraged to make good faith efforts to include Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) where subcontracting opportunities exist.
