The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is issuing a request for quotes for the complete interior painting and wallpaper removal at the Marbletown IRA facility located in Stone Ridge, NY.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the residence is properly maintained and updated while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary for the complete interior painting of the residence, including walls and ceilings.
Specific tasks include:
1. Removal of wallpaper from all surfaces and repair of imperfections before painting.
2. All materials (paint, stain, tools, accessories) must be included in the price quote.
3. Only Sherwin Williams products listed in the Paint Schedule are to be used.
4. Accessibility to the house will be determined by the House Director.
5. Lead-safe practices must be followed, including dust limitation and cleaning local areas with a damp rag at the end of each workday.
6. Furniture must be removed as required and returned after job completion.
7. Appliances must be disconnected/removed as required and reconnected upon job completion.
8. Pictures, outlet covers, switch covers, and electronics must be removed as needed and returned after job completion.
9. Imperfections on wall and ceiling surfaces must be filled with spackling compound, smoothed, primed before topcoat application to prevent flashing.
10. All work is subject to inspection by OPWDD; unsatisfactory work must be redone.
Period of Performance
Work is to commence within 60 days of contract award and must be completed within that timeframe.
