Background
The New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (NYS OPWDD) is seeking to procure vinyl siding installation services for the Bernard Fineson Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO).

The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's exterior while ensuring compliance with public works standards, including the payment of prevailing wages. This project is part of the agency's commitment to maintaining safe and functional living environments for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will supply and install new 4.5" Dutch Lap Insulated Vinyl Siding, house wrap, fascia boards, leaders, gutters, and downspouts as needed. The scope of work includes:
1. Providing proper dust protection at all areas where work is to be performed.
2. Preparing bricks to receive new vinyl siding and ensuring all areas are properly leveled.
3. Verifying actual measurements and conditions before work begins.
4. Having a site supervisor present at all times during work.
5. Supplying all labor, materials, and tools required to complete the job in a neat and timely manner without leaving debris on-site.
6. Installing 4.5" insulated Double Dutch lap vinyl siding around the entire house according to manufacturer recommendations.
7. Removing existing leaders, gutters, and downspouts and replacing them with new ones that include leaf guards.
8. Installing insulated house wrap on all areas where new siding will be placed.
9. Installing J channel around all windows and doors with corners cut at a 45-degree angle.
10. Installing new fascia board capped neatly with aluminum capping.
11. Capping soffits and overhangs as needed in a neat manner.
12. Completing all work within 7 business days without interfering with daily operations of the residence.
13. Providing a one-year guarantee on completed work.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within 7 business days from the date of award.

The project will take place at 73-32 172nd Street, Flushing NY 11366.
