Background
The Town of Lloyd is issuing this solicitation for the construction of a Water Treatment Plant Generator. The project aims to enhance the water treatment capabilities of the facility by installing an emergency standby generator, ensuring reliable operation during power outages. This contract is part of the Town's initiative to maintain and improve public utilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing an emergency standby generator at the River Road pump station. This includes all necessary conduit, wiring, startup, testing, excavation, and restoration to provide a complete project. Specific tasks include:

1. Mobilization/Demobilization
2. Installation of Generator Concrete Pad
3. Installation of Generator
4. Installation of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)
5. Electrical connections from pole to ATS and from ATS to generator
6. Installation of bollards and rock excavation as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for 19 months, with substantial completion expected within 548 days from the Notice to Proceed and final payment readiness within 578 days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Town of Lloyd Water Treatment Plant located on Reservoir Road in Highland, NY.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all local regulations and provide evidence of authority to do business in New York State. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a list of proposed subcontractors and suppliers along with their qualifications.
