Town of Elizabethtown Windsor Memorial Park Design Services RFP

Background
The Town of Elizabethtown is seeking proposals for professional park design services aimed at enhancing Windsor Memorial Park, located on Court Street in Elizabethtown, NY. This small, underutilized pocket park requires restoration and enhancement. The Town was awarded funding from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) in January 2023 to support this initiative.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for preparing architectural and low-maintenance landscape designs that align with the provided Site Survey and Conceptual Design. Proposed improvements may include:

- Walking paths
- Seating and gathering areas
- Landscaping
- Memorial features
- Lighting/electrical upgrades
- Enhanced accessibility and connectivity.

The final goal is to produce a complete, buildable design that is suitable for public bidding and construction.

The anticipated contract term is two years, with an option for a one-year extension for additional or related services, subject to mutual agreement.
