The Museum at FIT History Gallery Renovation

Scope of Work Requested:
The Museum at FIT History Gallery Renovation (Contract C1746) involves the comprehensive renovation of the History Gallery at The Museum at FIT. The work includes, but is not limited to:

• Interior renovations and upgrades to the gallery space
• Potential structural, electrical, and mechanical improvements as required for the renovation
• All work necessary to modernize and enhance the gallery environment

Background:
The Museum at FIT is seeking to update and renovate its History Gallery to improve visitor experience and maintain the facility's standards. FIT has previously awarded similar contracts within the past five years, including to B&B Contracting.

• Mandatory walkthrough for all interested bidders will be held on May 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM sharp.
• Location: Feldman Building Lobby, 227 W 27th St. (Between 7th and 8th Ave), New York, NY 10001.
• All attendees must bring a business card.
• Prime contractors are encouraged to invite their subcontractors to the walkthrough.
