Telecom Fiber Cable Maintenance, Emergency Restoration And Small Construction Service

Scope of Work:
Oswego County is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive services for its fiberoptic broadband network. The contractor will be responsible for:

• 24x7x365 (round-the-clock, all hours) maintenance of the fiberoptic broadband network
• Emergency restoration services
• Small construction services related to the network
• Materials handling and storage
• Splicing operations

The contractor must be approved by both Windstream and Frontier, and must also be able and willing to subcontract Charter-approved contractors if necessary.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by Oswego County, Purchasing Division.

Background:
This contract is for the ongoing support, restoration, and minor expansion of Oswego County's fiberoptic broadband network. No business enterprises have been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.

Contract Requirements:

• Contractor must furnish all materials, labor, services, plant, equipment, and work as required for the scope above
• Must be an approved Windstream and Frontier contractor
• Must be able and willing to subcontract Charter-approved contractors if necessary
