Background
The Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office (FLDDSO) is soliciting bids for the design of a kitchen at the Sunray Crest Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) located at 6469 Sunray Crest Dr, Victor, NY 14564. Work Details
The Design Vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary for a fully comprehensive drawing design and specification generation. The scope of work includes:
1. Design Services:
- Reference attached OPWDD requirements for renovations/replacements including kitchen, bathroom, roof, generator, sidewalks, windows, and abatement.
- Drawing designs must comply with various codes including 14 NYCRR 635, Subpart 635-7; 19 NYCRR 1201 and 1204; OPWDD specifications; NFPA (Life Safety Code); NYS Uniform Building Code; and NYS Environmental and Energy Code Regulation Compliance.
- Product specification data must include construction details, material descriptions, dimensions, profiles, finishes, and applicable schematics. All cabinetry must meet KCMA A161.1 testing standards.
2. Document submissions are required at routine intervals:
- 90% completion (issued for permitting - signed and stamped)
- 100% completion.
3. Payment will be available once the design is approved for construction and permitted.
4. A time schedule for the design services based on current workload within the design firm must be included in the proposal.
Period of Performance
The contract term is thirty (30) days after completion of the project.

The work will be performed at the Sunray Crest IRA located at 6469 Sunray Crest Dr, Victor, NY 14564 in Ontario County.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for June 2, 2025, at 9:30 AM to verify knowledge of the area before bid submission. Late arrivals will be rejected and bids will not be accepted from vendors who do not attend this site visit. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance and comply with all local and state building codes.
